Youth Sunday in the Street

Haiti Still in Need

The Missions Pastor at Brooklyn Tabernacle, Pastor Jerry Park, has visited Haiti several times in the six months since the terrible earthquake Jan. 12th, 2010.  He has sent us some pictures of the recent state of the country, including a picture of an inexpensive water purifier that people are trying to get into their homes.  The Brooklyn Tabernacle and Manhattan Grace Tabernacle has supported two missions there, one in Port-au-Prince run by Elsie Leherisson and one in Jacmel run by Bonite Affrianny.  The quake had devastating effects throughout the country, although somewhat less in Jacmel than in the capitol city.  Here is a short gallery of pictures: …Click for more Haiti Still in Need

Raise Him UP!

The Lord gave us another beautiful day in the sun for our Summer Concert Series.  Raise Him Up Ministries was our special guest.  Their presentation of the gospel through music and spoken word is powerful!  With the cross always central to their theme, they testified, used poignant scripture passages, and choreographed whole life stories to beautiful, descriptive music!  It was a day to be remembered!  They even went out into the crowd bringing some to the cross, and pantomiming to others the wonderful love of our risen savior.

Fourth of July Outreach Pix
