A group of approximately 40 has ministered to the congregation every Sunday, at special services, Concerts of Praise, and at various prisons throughout the Tri-State area, as well as other states. The MGT choir has been to facilities such as San Quentin Correctional Facility in San Francisco, CA, Orient Road Jail in Tampa Florida, 3 prisons in Atlanta, GA; Tryon Residential Center in Amsterdam, NY; Elmira Correctional Facility, South Port Correctional- both in Waverly, NY, and Goshen Correctional Facility in Goshen, NY. The choir is also regular visitors to Sullivan Correctional Facility where David Berkowitz (former “Son of Sam”) is housed for life. It is the choir’s desire to reach the prison population of NY with the Gospel. This endeavor has had and continues to have favorable results.
The choir also ministers outdoors during the summer months, and ministers at all of the indoor outreaches and Concerts of Praise held during the fall and winter months.
