Salt-N-Light is the name of our Juniors group (ages 10-12). This ministry plays a vital role in the transitional phase of pre-teen to teenager. It’s run by a committee of dedicated, loving workers. They meet weekly on Sunday mornings, and once a month on Fridays, targeting issues that plague our pre-teens. The Juniors are involved in what we call, “Leaders In Training” on the 1st Sunday of each month. During this time, the are mixed in with the adults to serve in the ministry they best work well with. For example, the Juniors, on the 1st Sunday, will usher, sing on the worship team, run the PPT program, pray for the offering, read the morning’s scripture, etc. They are being groomed for ministry… it’s a beautiful thing to see! They are a close-knit group with lots and lots of potential.
