The Ladies’ Ministry at Manhattan Grace Tabernacle ministers to the women of the church and the community. The ladies’ plan & meet once a month with a special service or dinner/breakfast fellowship. Also, they coordinate yearly retreats. The ladies’ ministry serves the church by overseeing the special needs in the body of Christ, i.e., single-parent needs, needs of underprivileged families, etc.

I’m looking forward to our ladies outing to the Ft. Tryon Park for a time of relaxation & fellowship. Just a reminder that I highly recommend you take public transportation as, though parking is free at the park, spaces are limited.
The park is in Manhattan, by Ft. Washington Avenue and 190 Street. We will be meeting from 12 – 3 pm at Heather Garden in the Billings Lawn.
Bus directions: Take M4 (Cloisters bus) to Ft. Washington Ave/Ft Tryon Park bus stop
Train directions: Take A train to 190th St. exit. Exit via elevator (not the stairs) to Ft. Washington Ave.
when you arrive at the park, walk towards the main entrance (where the big two columns are). Do not walk into the driveway.
Make your first left to go down the steps into Billings Lawn. If you cannot take the steps, walk a little further up and there will be a ramp that leads to Billings Lawn.
other reminders:
- Bring comfortable shoes or sneakers in case you want to go for a walk
- pack a lunch and drink (i.e. sandwich, juice box, etc.)
- Bring a blanket or a chair to sit on
- if you want to bring games, such as cards, word games, etc. feel free to do so
