The MGT Staff would like to send a great big THANK YOU to the body of Manhattan Grace Tabernacle! We could NOT have done anything this summer without you! To the Prayer Station Workers, The VBS Registration Table Crew, The Information Station Team, The Jenkins Fam for ALL of the behind the scenes (literally) work you did, the Cooling Station  … and to ALL OF YOU who helped with set up, sound, break down, clean up, ushering, security, choir members, drama team, tract and flier distributors, greeters, prayer warriors, and EVERYONE who helped in ANY way to make these summer outreaches successful in the eyes of the Lord! Thank you isn’t enough – we love and appreciate ALL of you so very much!

 Won’t you join us tomorrow for a VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION featuring YOUR very own children! Tomorrow, Sunday, August 29th @ 1p.m. we’ll be sharing with the parents, church members, and the PS 38 Community about all the children learned this week at VBS: The Life of Joseph; From Prison to the Palace!
It’s going to be a great afternoon with music, games, prizes and much more! Don’t miss it!
 The flyers, invitations, emails, Facebook and tweets resulted in a full house to hear Nicky Cruz this Sunday! We even had to bring out extra chairs. Thanks to everyone that got busy inviting folk.
Our plan was to have the meeting outdoors, but the Lord’s plan prevailed. Physical rain outside, and the rain of the Holy Spirit inside! ReFuGe rapped, the choir sang, and Jeremiah performed a powerful mime. Then Nicky gave a powerful message about the Gerasene Demoniac and how the power of Jesus Christ delivered him from a living hell.  The Lord gave us another wonderful day for our Summer Concert Series, holding off the rain until everything was put away. Raise Him Up Ministries was with us again, with another powerful message of Christ’s hope and deliverance through dance and spoken word.

 The Lord gave us another wonderful day of praise, worship, testimony and souls! The children sang, some testimonies were presented, Judith Santiago performed beautiful praise dances, Migdalia Cook gave her detailed and stirring story of redemption, and then Frank Cook spoke about the Hope that we have in Christ from the Word of God.

 We thank God for a wonderful weekend with Puchi Colón and the band! They were an incredible blessing! We enjoyed a wonderful, RAIN FREE, afternoon!  Sunday, July 25, 2010 our Summer Concert Series continued with Youth Day. After the choir sang and there was a dramatic skit, ReFuGe brought music that really struck a chord with our urban community. People stopped to listen. Dr. Offie Reid gave a message of hope, explaining the difference between the two thieves on the cross when Jesus was crucified. One mocked him, and one repented.
